Ko tō tūranga – your role
Following an internal promotion, we’re seeking a dynamic Project Delivery Manager to join our Critical Infrastructure team, starting 1 April 2026.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the on-site delivery of major projects across our extensive network. You’ll lead end-to-end project management, ensuring successful execution while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and business performance.
You’ll be accountable for ensuring projects are delivered within approved budget parameters and aligned with gross margin and EBIT targets. You’ll also cover key aspects of project performance; technical, financial, procurement, customer experience, safety, quality and environmental outcomes. You’ll demonstrate strong capability in managing and developing resources, supporting improvements to systems and processes, and contributing to the delivery and reporting of wider business initiatives.

Ōu pūkenga - What will you bring?
- 5+ years Construction Management or Business Management experience from within an Electricity Distribution Business, Utilities, or similarly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated project management experience and competence from initial stages through to completion
- and/or a formal qualification in Project Management is desired, but not essential.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Electrical/Construction industries.
- Experience in fostering an inclusive, dynamic, and performance-driven team culture.
- Background in driving workforce efficiency, continuous improvements, and promoting a zero-harm safety culture.
- Proficiency in report writing and month-end reporting.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for fact-based decision making.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
