Join our passionate team as a Customer Service Representative and play a key role in supporting our community. At Counties Energy, every day brings something new, you'll be at the forefront of handling a diverse range of customer inquiries, using your problem-solving skills to deliver clear, helpful solutions and a positive experience for every customer.
Our incredible Customer Service team operates from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday. This is a part-time position working the hours of 8:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday (30 hours). Given the dynamic nature of our industry, having the flexibility to support during storms, peak times, or team absences within department hours is highly valued.
While we provide extensive training and support, we're seeking a motivated individual who's ready to jump in and make an impact. You'll have exceptional attention to detail, quickly pick up new systems and processes and be a strong user of Microsoft Office applications.
Ōu pūkenga - What will you bring?
- A few years’ foundational experience working in fast paced customer services or administration roles; experience in the service/utility-based industries is a bonus!
- The confidence and ability to diffuse and calm customers in high pressure situations, whilst keeping a polite and patient demeanour,
- Strong IT literacy, with excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with customer database systems,
- A high level of self-management, flexibility, and organisation skills,
- The ability to take ownership of queries, proactively identify issues, find solutions and resolve,
- Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills
